Google has officially announced the Pixel 9a, its mid-range offering in the Pixel 9 lineup, at a starting price of $499. The device brings many of the flagship Pixel 9's capabilities to a more accessible price point.
Specifications
The Pixel 9a is powered by Google's latest Tensor G5 chip, built on a 3nm process, and features 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 6.3-inch OLED display offers 120Hz refresh rate and 2,700 nits peak brightness.
Camera System
Google has equipped the Pixel 9a with a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 13MP ultrawide camera.
Software Support
Google is promising 7 years of OS updates, security patches, and Pixel Drop feature updates — matching the commitment made for the Pixel 9 Pro lineup.
Battery Life
The 5,100 mAh battery supports 18W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging. Google claims up to 31 hours of battery life in standard use.
